Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: Archie and Miley on the float together!
According to JustJared, David will be sharing the float with Miley Cyrus:
The 16-year-old starlet will be performing in the 82nd Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade on November 27th on the lead float with American Idol finalist David Archuleta.
So apparently David’s going to be making an appearance on MTV’s show, Made. How exciting! Someone posted about this on David’s facebook group, here’s a few quotes from the topic and below is a link to the actual facebook topic:
Im shooting an episode for MADE, I got chosen to be on it =)
and ive been shooting for a couple weeks and like last week i got to meet David and hes gonna be featured on the episode! I thought i would share this because my whole episode is how David inspired me to break out!
I dont know what the air date is gonna be since im shooting till the 23rd of this month! But i’ll keep you guys updated!
yeah! im gonna be MADE into a hip hop dancer! aha totally out of my element but its not a typical episode of MADE. im going up against 2 other people for like a grand prize
oh ahah its not that his “hip hop” skills are the reasons im doing it. but since im like obsessed with him, mtv is kind of turning it into this big thing aha
I do just want to clearify like hes not in the WHOLE episode ahha, and i cant say how much he will be in since i dont edit the episode hhaha but i’ll hopefully know the air date of the episode by next month.
David’s in the new issue of Elle Magazine, with Carrie Underwood on the cover, and he’s in a photoshoot with the rest of the top 10. I uploaded 2 photos from it and I’m going out to buy the magazine now so I’ll have scans up soon! I’m also trying to look for these in hq and to find some outtakes so keep checking back for more updates.
Hey guys! Sorry for the delay in posting these, but I made 217 high quality screen captures of David’s appearance on Leno last night, thanks to X-Factor for the video!
David Archuleta will be stopping by Camp Buzzworthy this Tuesday, November 11 — the same day as the release of his highly anticipated debut album AND his live performance on TRL — and I’m turning over the interview to his Buzzworthy fans!
Post your Archu-questions in the Archu-comments, and I’ll do my best to ask them when I interview him!
If you wanna know how he manages to cram so much adorability into one human being, or who he’s got a “Crush” on, or what Jason Castro’s hair looks like in person, this could be your chance!
David Archuleta is ready to move beyond “American Idol.”
The “Idol” runner-up wants his first album to prove he is more than just a pretty face. Reuters is reporting the 17-year-old is still giddy and excited about launching his solo music career just six months after his second-place “Idol” win.
The teen also said while he is ready for a mega-music career, he is still not ready for serious dating. His debut album is set to drop in stores on November 18.

New York Arch Angels, Z100 has announced their line up for Jingle Ball 2008 and David is set to perform! Click on the picture to go on Z100’s official Jingle Ball page for tickets and more info on the other performers.
Don’t forget to keep voting for the Crush music video on VH1’s Top 20 Video Countdown! Let’s make Crush #1 5 weeks in a row! Also if you can, try not to put the videos on the list that have a fire symbol next to it, they may pass Crush.
Reviews are pouring in for the album and here’s one I couldn’t agree more with:
“When lead single “Crush” first dropped, even haters were forced to admit it was an earworm, and there are at least five other songs just as catchy (so far we like “A Little Too Not Over You” and “Barriers” the best). We can’t really envision any circumstances under which David Archuleta won’t be a massive, chart-killing success.”
Also USA Today interviewed David about getting ready for his album debut which you can read by clickingHere
They also posted a virtual ipod which you can scroll through to see what David is currently listening to and look out for the ice cream analogy at the end. Haha
And lastly David will be on Radio Disney again tomorrow at 2 PM PT/5 PM ET. You can go to their website for the number to call or request a song from him and listen to the live stream by clicking Here
New Blog + Performance On Jay Leno Tonight! *Updated*
David posted a new blog on myspace, and don’t forget to watch The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC. It starts at 11:35 ET and David will perform at the end of show around 12:30.
Heey Everybody. This week has been the week of band rehearsals, and it’s been awesome! Everyone in the band has been way cool so far, and I’ve had a lot of fun rehearsing my own songs! We have performances coming up pretty quick here, with Jay Leno tonight already. I’ve been really enjoying it so far, and am looking forward for what’s coming up! It’s also getting pretty close to the album release too, which I’m so pumped for. I can’t wait to see what you guys think of it, since I’ve been spending so much time on it heh. Anyway, I have things to share with what else has been going on besides the band and rehearsing. Before things begin to get really hectic and busy, I was able to have some free time and go to Six Flags Magic Mountain! I love that place. It’s like roller coaster heaven. I love X2, Tatsu, Goliath, and Riddler’s Revenge. All the roller coasters are pretty good there, actually. I just don’t like when your head bangs side to side on the twisty ones, it gives me a headache.Another thing I got to do was go to the Jason Mraz concert at the Greek Theater! We were in the 4th row center and I had such a good time! Castro came along too, and it’s always good to hang with him. It’s great the way Mraz communicates with the crowd. He’s really witty and makes it feel a lot more up-close and personal conversation he’s having, despite the fact that there are thousands of people there. I loved when he did Only Human, The Remedy, Life Is Beautiful, No Stopping Us, and I’m Yours (of course.. ha…) Honestly I loved all of them. Maybe I’m a little biased…. but I’m pretty sure all of the songs were just amazing. He did Oh Happy Day too! And that was sooo cool. K, I’m done with that now. We got the chance to talk to him for a little bit, even though he was getting MOBBED. It was really neat to see how friendly and laid back he was in person. You never know how people are going to be when you meet them, since they’re usually getting dragged all over the place and under a lot of stress. He kept his cool the entire time though, and I’m sure he’s been doing this for a while now. I had tickets for when he came to Utah on October 28th, but I had to do promotion stuff and couldn’t go :(. So I’m really glad I was able to go last Saturday! All rightyyyy… That’s enough of talking about that. If you haven’t gotten his new CD yet… you should really check it out :)The last thing I’d like to talk about is something I did at the Universal City Walk. It’s this thing called iFly, and oh my heck! It’s roocks! You get to fly in a tube! I have a couple of pictures that I’ll put up. I was a little nervous at first, but it’s not even scary when you get in there. I kinda slobbered over myself, but that’s ok because it was totally worth it. I can’t really explain how it was because it was… just a really different experience. I guess it was kinda being like a bird or something… you just don’t move around a whole lot and you’re inside a tube. I guess I got a DVD of it… but I’m pretty sure I’m not going to show that haha. Anyway I’ve written quite a bit in this one, so I’ll try to get back later. 5 Days until the CD comes out!
P.S. I know I talked a ton about Jason Mraz, but I think that only makes it even more appropriate to share one of his songs today. So the song for today is A Beautiful Mess - Jason Mraz. It’s amaaazing when he does it live too!
