          New Blog: New Years Resolution?

I hope everyone’s having a great new year so far! I have an official resolution I have set which I’m going to try and keep up with this year, but I’m going to keep it to myself to see how well I do until the end haha… But if you guys don’t mind sharing your resolutions feel free to! I think it’s fun to know about those kinds of things. I performed at a thing in Orem, Utah called Newphoria which was great. My parents, little sisters, and a bunch of my friends were able to come and celebrate! I sang ALTNOY and Crush, and there were some other really neat acts there. My friends, The Osmonds 2nd Generation who were also performing earlier, got a hold of me and invited me to do it. I thought it was a really fun way to celebrate while at home, and I was sooo happy to have my friends and family there with me. We had a blast! Ashley Tisdale was also there hosting. We danced like idiots, and I got some good exercise out of it.
This weekend I went to San Diego to visit a girl for Make-A-Wish who was having a very difficult time battling cancer. It was probably one of the most special things I have ever experienced, and incredibly touching. It helped me even more to be motivated and act. We need to keep ..ing those who battle against such sicknesses. I want to thank those of you who are so strong in facing those kinds of obstacles, and are such an example of hope and strength. Something like that reminds me of what matters most in this life, and I hope to never forget that. I want to thank her and her family, and I want them to know I’m strongly keeping them in my prayers. I’m also so appreciative of Make-A-Wish for allowing incredible things to happen for kids and let their dreams come true. And THANK YOU!! to all of you guys for your donations that you’ve been sending for such great causes! A lot of you have made donations in my name, so thanks for doing that. I always think about how those donations will help out, even if it’s not a huge contribution. That small amount can help change someone’s life one way or another, and just thinking about it gives me the chills. But anyway, sorry for going off on that, I just felt like it was something important to let out.
While we were in San Diego, I got to meet up with one of my friends who was there on vacation. Their family was going to the Chargers vs. Colts game, so we decided to go too! It was such an exciting game, and I’m really glad I was able to see my friend haha. I think it’s cool to meet up with buddies somewhere different from where you live. It was my first NFL game, and the crowd was nuts. The really cool thing about it is the game was at Qualcomm Stadium, which is where I first auditioned for American Idol! It brought back a lot of memories of a lot of waiting lol. But it was cool, and neat to think about how it all started.
Today I’ll be singing at Utah’s Governor Huntsman’s inauguration, and even though it’s FREEZING… it should be a good time. I actually sang at the Governor Huntsman’s inauguration the first time lol. But yeah. It’s actually so hard to sing when it’s cold! I tend to lose my voice in cold weather, and I must be cold-blooded because I just don’t do well with low temperatures. I’ll let you know how it went in my next blog, but I better get going here. Unlike my last blog, this is pretty long haha. So I’ll talk to you guys later!

P.S. Before I go I wanted to mention one thing real quick. I was hanging out at my house when my parents called me in to watch a story on Oprah about this girl named Charice. I had seen her on youtube before and she was at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, but it was amazing to hear her story and her voice! She seriously has one of the best voices I’ve heard in a long time, and I had chills the entire time I was watching about her life. So instead of a song for the day I think you should check her out! It’s more like a person for the day haha. She was really inspiring and for those of you who haven’t heard her yet I think you’re in for a real treat! She sang My Heart Will Go On during her appearance on Oprah, and it’s amazing to see how much passion she has for what she does! I also loved how she talked about how important her mom was to her. I hope you guys enjoy!

          New Blog: Happy New Years

Hola a todos! I hope everyone had an awesome holiday season! I’ve been spending time with my family, and it’s been great! It’s been so nice to finally relax and spend time with all of them. We’ve been in Vegas for the last little while. I’ve been eating WAY too much, but hopefully I’ll be able to lose some of it lol. Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone for incredibly thoughtful things you’ve been saying wishing me happy holidays and also happy birthday! haha. I just had my birthday on the 28th, so I’m now officially 18. Thanks sooo much for all the comments and videos that you guys have sent! It was way cool to see them!! For my birthday we ate Thai food for dinner, and then saw the Blue Man Group which was really cool and creative. It was cool to go to a show with my family and have a fun time doing something together, so I had a great day. On our way to the show my siblings and I found out that we all happened to know the Harry Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking Noise and had enough of us to do the different parts… haha. We’re dorks, but we had fun. But thanks again for all the things you guys have done for me during the holiday season! And hope everyone has a Happy New Year!! I’ll be making an appearance at the Newphoria New Year’s Eve Dance in Orem, Utah for New Year’s, so for those of you going I’ll see ya there! But anyway my mom’s telling me to hurry up because we’re going to eat now so I’ll talk to you guys later!

P.S. Thanks for making the Crush video hit 10 million hits!!!!!! I was like.. floored when I found out! haha.

P.P.S. This blog is way shorter than my other ones! Hooray for not rambling insanely! Song for the day - If This Isn’t Love - Jennifer Hudson This is a really cool song. I like listening to it. haha

New Blog: Jingle Ball Wrap Up

Hey All! I hope everyone’s having a fun time during the holiday season. I did the last few Jingle Ball shows this week, and it was such a blast! Sunday was Philly/South Jersey for Q102, and I was stoked because I got to run out and take a picture of a few things before I had to get ready and leave for the show. I got to see things like the first U.S. library and the Liberty Bell which was way cool. Then on Monday we went to Minnesota for KDWB, and it was the first time I got to see T.I. perform. It was soooo cold! I think it was like -27 with the windchill or something. It was fun though, because in downtown Minneapolis they have indoor walkways that go from building to building with shops all over. That way you don’t have to cross the street in the freezing cold haha. On Tuesday we went to Chicago for the B96 show, and it was really cold there too. It was my last show with my buddy Shontelle, who’s just a really cool girl haha. It was fun doing a lot of shows with her. After the soundcheck in Chicago, I had to go back to the hotel to get some stuff, and normally it takes like… 10 minutes to get there… But with how bad it was snowing and all of the traffic, it took us over an hour to get there. It was pretty painful lol. But luckily I made it in time to do the meet n greets and be prepared for the show. Wednesday in Atlanta for Star 94 was the last show for me, and it was sooooo much fun. I had a really great time, and during my set after I sang A Thousand Miles, the band and crew surprised me with a birthday cake since it was the last time I’d see them before my birthday. The crowd sang happy birthday and I tried to blow out the candles, but they kept lighting back up because they were trick candles haha. It was really cool of them to do that for me though, so thanks you guys! It was so awesome working with them on all of these shows. I felt really privileged to get to work with all of them who were really easy to get along with. My family in Atlanta got to come to the show too, and it was GREAT to see them again! I brought my cousin backstage to meet everyone, and she was really shy haha. Rehab, We the Kings, Colbie Caillat, and Gavin Degraw were all performers, and she got to meet all of them besides Rehab. It was a really cool laid back group of people, so it was a really enjoyable smooth show. Shawn Johnson, the olympic gold medal gymnast, was at the show too. So we got to meet her and she was really cool. During Gavin Degraw’s set while he was singing I Don’t Wanna Be (Which I love by the way) he called Colbie to go up and sing with him when she was standing on the side watching. So she went up and it was awesome! I loved it haha. Oh and another person who got to come to the show was Alexandrea Lushington from top 24! She left before I got to say hi, but I’m really glad she was able to come. So this week has been fun, and now it’s time to relax and spend time with the fam for the holidays. I’m not sure where we’re going to go quite yet, but we’re probably going to go somewhere that isn’t snowing haha. I love looking at the snow, but it’s no fun when you don’t have heat in your house. Oh and another thing. I have this drawer in my room where I keep a lot of memories in, like tickets, cd’s, papers, letters, etc.. and I open it up to put some more stuff… When I open it, all my papers are chewed up and there’s a nest mice made from all of my memories! I tried saving as much as I could, but there was a lot of damage done and I had to throw a lot away :(. But it’s ok because it was an excuse to clean up haha. So now I’ve been decluttering my room, which is taking forever because more things keep coming into it. I still haven’t gotten a lot of the boxes that I sent home during the Jingle shows, and most of the stuff from tour is in boxes elsewhere. So my room is pretty much uninhabitable. But I’ll hurry and clear things up before we leave. But anyway.. I apologize for my disorganized rambling that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. But I’m going to a Christmas party now, so I hope everyone has a good week! If you have any fun stories let me know about ‘em! Adios.

Song for the day: Snow - Amie Miriello
This is one of my favorite songs of the year. I thought it’d be appropriate as I now wipe the windshield filled with snow haha.

New Blog: Jingle Ball Updates … Philly Tonight!!!

Holaaaa. It’s me again with another blog. This week has been way busy with Radio Station shows. It’s actually kinda hard to keep track of all that happened. Sunday we had a show for an awesome crowd in Houston for the station KRBE, and then on Monday we went to Toronto, Canada! It was great going back to Toronto, and we ate at a Southern Italian restaurant there. I’ve never had *Southern* Italian food, but it was delicious. I then did a performance Tuesday for CHUM FM of Crush where I accompanied myself on piano. It was actually the first time I had ever done that for an audience haha, so it was exciting. And thanks everyone for coming to the shows! It’s so great to see the signs and familiar faces. I wasn’t sure how the performance in Canada would go, but it was just awesome to see the turn out. That same day we went to Buffalo for a performance for their station’s Kissmas Bash, and oh my heck there were so many people! The crowd was sold out of over like 15,000 people and they were insane!! It was so much fun haha. The day after that we went to Albany for the Fly 92.5 Radio show, and this one was really different from the rest. For their show they had a more intimate setting in a club, and it was just Ten Year Vamp, Gavin Degraw, and me. It was the first time I had done anything like it before and wow! It was just awesome! My ears were ringing after we were done, and it was sooo hot I was drenched in sweat lol. But it was just fun. I loved having the audience so close. And let me just say really quick that Gavin Degraw is wicked cool. I met him first at the Houston show, and then we had this one together. I love his style of music and singing and he’s a great guy. Next stop was Kiss 108 Boston, and Natasha Bedingfield performed at this one! It was awesome (as always) to see her again, and I just thought it was really cool to be able to perform at the same show as her.
So along comes Friday… dun dun dun.. haha… For the big Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden. This was a really intense one, and I was pretty dang jittery throughout the day. Z100 Jingle Ball is a big big deal, and I couldn’t believe I was one of the acts. I don’t think I can explain (not like me being unable to explain something is anything new) how intimidating and nerve wracking it was to be sandwiched between Kanye West and Chris Brown in the lineup, and being 2nd to last lol. but hijole!! Coming after Kanye just felt so wrong for me to do, but man I had a blast! Never thought in a million billion kajillion years I’d be performing at Madison Square Garden with Brandy, Leona Lewis, right after Kanye West (even though I felt like a loser going after someone as amazing as that lol) and then Chris Brown and Rihanna. It was just sooo amazing!! The other really cool thing was that Z100 was the first station to play and debut Crush. Man it’s just such a cool thing to be able to to have done. And now looking back on it.. just wow.. But thanks you guys for coming to the shows! The energy everyone brings to the arena really helps us performers step up our game, and really have a great time up there. We have Philly coming up tonight, with Chicago and Minneapolis following after that. So for those of you coming to those shows, I hope you have a great time and thanks for coming! The party after the show was at a bowling alley, so it was fun to go and do that even though I was DEAD tired. my body was just aching since we had so much press and things to do all that day. It was fun to meet so many people though. Bruce Springsteen was at the show with his daughter and her friends, and it was definitely an honor to meet him. At the bowling alley I got to meet a fellow Jive Artist, Lesley Roy. one of her songs called “I’m Gone, I’m Going” is one of my most listened to songs on iTunes haha, and it was great to finally talk to her. She’s from Ireland, so her accent reminded me of my buddy Carly Smithson. It also reminded me of how much I miss Carly :(. I’d text Carly right now if my phone wasn’t still missing. But anyway… haha. Lesley’s a really cool gal.
Ok wrapping up here, I got a day off today! The band and I went to the Museum of Natural History in New York City. I loved it! It’s fascinating to see the kinds of things that are in museums. I took a few pictures, so I’ll try to load some up. They have tons of different exhibits and things to look at in there. I had a really good time.
Last thing I wanted to mention is that the Video for A Little Too Not Over You is going to be premiering next week on Yahoo Music! A lot of work goes into making videos so I hope you guys like it!! Sorry I can’t ever make these short but I’m done now. So I’ll talk to you guys later. Peace

Song for the day: A Baby Changes Everything - Faith Hill.
This song is for the Holiday Seasons since it’s off of her new Christmas album. It’s a beautiful song and she has such a great voice.

Awww and music video! Can’t wait! Go and leave a comment for him and if you haven’t added David’s official myspace, you can do so here.

          New BLog: Jingle Ball Updates

Jingle Ball Updates

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know about how the first radio show went! The first Jingle Ball was in Sacramento, and it was AMAAZZIINNGGG!!! I couldn’t believe how exciting it was! The other acts that were there were Jesse McCartney, Katy Perry, Boys Like Girls, and Shontelle. It was neat to have Shontelle there because I became friends with her at the Macy’s Parade haha. Go familiar faces! But I seriously had the time of my life. I was so nervous before the show, wondering what I was going to say on stage and how I was going to perform. It kind of just came out though, and the energy of the band and crowd was just such a great feeling. It was cool to see all the signs you guys made too! It made me feel more comfortable to see some of you guys out there cheering on, so thanks everyone for coming out! Hopefully you guys will get to go to a show if haven’t gone yet. If any of you are going to come to upcoming shows let me know.
Another really exciting thing that happened this week was filming the music video for A Little Too Not Over You. This video was so much fun! It took a lot longer, but I really had a great time. The director was really creative and fun to work with, and the people who were in the video were hilarious! They’re working on editing it and getting everything together now, but I can’t wait to see the finished product.
Other thing that happened this week: I lost my phone 2 days ago lol. That wasn’t nearly as fun and exciting as the other things, but oh well I guess. I’m pretty sure I left it on the plane, but they wouldn’t let me back on the airplane because the next destination it was going was an international flight to Vancouver. I guess you can’t go on the plane if it’s international because of security reasons or something. I couldn’t do anything about it either because we had to catch another flight going to Orlando, so I went to Orlando as my phone went to Vancouver. I’m actually kinda envious that my phone got to go to Vancouver before I did. I wish I went too lol. But I was really happy about going to Florida. I had a few things to do there like record a bunch of lines, and I got to go to Disneyworld! That totally cheered up my mood. We went to all of the parks and I was a happy camper. My aunt, uncle, and cousins who live in that area also came to visit, and I was really glad that I was able to hang out with them. Gotta love family. The sad thing is that I usually take pictures using my phone, so I didn’t have a camera until I went on the safari in Animal Kingdom. My camera died right after that anyway. I’ll try to put some pictures up though. We had the coolest tour guide helping us out too. He was really friendly and helpful. Oh David Cook was there too by the way. We ran into each other in front of Pirates of the Caribbean haha. It’s always fun bumping into him. Sorry I’m saying all of these events totally out of order but I can’t remember the exact… like… timeline haha. But anyway, I could go on forever about Disneyworld in a disorganized manner but then this would be 3 times longer and make even less sense than it already does.
I’ll just mention one more thing before I go, I performed at the Hollywood and Highland Christmas Tree Lighting in California the other night. After that I dropped by the KIIS FM Jingle Ball. So for those of you who went, I hope you had fun!

P.S. Congrats to Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and Sara Bareilles for their Grammy Nominations!
Others that were nominated that I’m excited for: Adele, Jennifer Hudson, Coldplay, well a lot haha.

Song for the day: Extraordinary Machine - Fiona Apple

I’m glad he had a great time at Jingle Ball and at Disneyland, can’t wait for what’s to come next.

          New Blog: Happy Thanksgiving

Hey Guys! Just wanted to say that I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!! We were in New York this week, and I had a blast! Yesterday was the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and that was really exciting. I was on the Green Dog float, and there were tons and tons and tons of people on the sides. It was pretty chilly too, but I heard that it was a really nice day compared to previous years haha. I bundled and layered up as much as I could though. I sang Crush near the end, and a couple of songs played during our time going down the streets. And there’s a mouse in here. Sorry I know that was random, but I can hear it wandering around and it keeps squeaking. I didn’t think there would be mice here but I guess there are… But anyway. Some kids from the PBS show Fetch were on my float too, and they were really nice kids. I also got to meet a bunch of other people who were in the parade, and it was really great getting to meet and talk with them. Miranda Cosgrove from iCarly was there too, and it was really cool to see and talk to her again. The sad thing is that I didn’t have my camera or phone with me, so I didn’t get to take my own pictures. Someone that worked there was nice enough to let me borrow their camera though before the parade started and I took pictures on my float, and on the Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends float! I know I’m such a dork but that’s my favorite cartoon lol. I was so excited to see it because it wasn’t too far behind me. But they were going to send me the pictures sometime soon.
The night before Thanksgiving, my mom and I went to see the musical In The Heights, and it was pretty much PHENOMENAL. It is seriously like one of my favorite musicals now. It was great that my mom was able to come to this particular musical too because it’s full of Latin music. So we had a great time with that, and also got to meet some of the cast members from it. I definitely recommend it if you ever get the chance to see it! The cast from the musical was also in the parade and did a number. Oh, the night before we saw the musical, my mom and I watched Twilight. I never read the books but a bunch of my friends are really into it, and the movie’s been getting a bunch of hype so we decided to go see it. I actually really liked it. The weird thing is when we walked into the theater Crush was playing so we walked back out because it was so weird haha. But anyway my blogs always get insanely longer than I intend for them to be, so I’ll end for today. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

P.S. It was really fun to see all the signs you guys made during the parade! haha

Songs for the day: Decode - Paramore (From the Twilight Soundtrack) It shows just how great of a singer Hayley is.

I love his blogs. Don’t forget to leave him a comment.

New Blog: Concerts, AMAs, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and more!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank all you guys for helping the album debut at number 2! That is so incredible and I just appreciate all the support you guys have shown for that! It’s really neat to know that you’re all still doing the things you do :). But really thanks so much! Having an album out there can actually be kinda scary when you put something out there and expose all your work to the open haha. But I’m really glad to have this experience and learn so much from it.I also just wanted to let you guys know really quick that I had enough time this week to work on my scouting! I tried to do as much as I could earlier this week while I had some time off since I was home for a few days. And then.. I had my eagle project yesterday! I got a bunch of friends together to help me plant some small trees and shrubs at a park, and we planted 180 plants. I’m so excited about this guys! I didn’t think I’d ever have the time this year to work on my scouting, but we pushed for it. Completing this is a really big thing for me, especially since I was wondering if I’d even be able to get it haha. But I’ll let you know when I get everything wrapped up with that. Some other things coming up, I’ll be presenting at the American Music Awards this weekend, and then there will be the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thanksgiving. I’m way excited about both of those things! I think there’s going to be a photo shoot coming up too. Oh! And one more thing. A Little Too Not Over You has been selected to be the next single now! That’s CRAZY! I can’t believe a song I helped…. create lol…. is going to be released! There are just a lot of things I’ve been really excited about lately. One last thing. I had a chance to go to another concert this week. And that was the Carrie Underwood concert! It was great! And it’s so cool to see someone like her be so successful. I can’t believe the way she’s able to sing every night, she has some mad skills. What a great role model for people too. She’s someone that everyone can look up to, and is proof you can be a humble small town girl and do well in this business. Little Big Town opened up for her, and they are also great. They have such amazing harmonies, and were uber nice too. But I’m talking more than I wanted. So I better get going here. Talk to you guys later!

P.S. David Cook’s album rocks and is in stores!!

Song for the day: So I decided to have a few for today since it’s a special week. So here they are haha.

The following are all by David Cook:

New Alloy Blog (Last One!): Album’s Out and So Is David!

Album’s Out and So Is David!

The album is finally out now!! It’s been a pretty wild week or so, but I can’t believe the album’s out! I spent pretty much every open space I had over the summer working on it, so it had been quite a busy summer too. But it just blows my mind to think it’s actually out. It’s so weird that it feels a little surreal, haha. But even with everything that’s been going on, I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Im really glad that I got to write some songs for the album, too. I helped write two of the songs on the main album, which were “A Little Too Not Over You” and “Don’t Let Go.” They were both written pretty close to the deadline of having to have the album finished actually. I wrote “Don’t Let Go” with JC Chasez and Jimmy Harry, who wrote “Low” for Kelly Clarkson, and they were so cool to work with. “A Little Too Not Over You,” I wrote with Robbie Nevil, who wrote “One Step At A Time,” Mike Krompass, and Matthew Gerrard who wrote “Breakaway.” I also wrote one of the songs for the iTunes deluxe version called “Falling” and the Wal-Mart bonus track called “Works For Me.” I wrote “Works For Me” with Toby Lightman and Daniel Bedingfield, and that was actually really intimidating because they are both amazing singers. But they were really cool to work with, and I had a great time. I also took part in writing a song called “Somebody Out There,” but it was for pre-order on iTunes only. So five songs was a lot more than I ever expected than from the beginning, haha. But anyway, I kinda rambled off with that one.

Over the last week or so, I went on Jay Leno, TODAY, TRL, Mi TRL, and Regis and Kelly, with a few more coming up. It’s been a lot of fun! I’m getting the hang of singing “Crush” live and also getting the hang of singing early in the morning, haha. I also had a signing at the Virgin Megastore at Times Square for the day the album came out, and that was really neat to see everyone come out for that. It surprised me how diverse the age group was and that there were a both a bunch of guys and girls. So it was pretty cool. I really appreciated everyone coming out for the special night, and it was my first time in the Megastore, too. So it’s been a pretty exciting time in my life right now, with the first album out! I just can’t get over that… It’s seriously mind-blowing. So I hope everyone enjoys it!

Sadly, this is my last Alloy blog, but I had a good time keeping you guys updated and making sure I got pictures of things that were going on, haha. I have actually gotten into bringing my camera around to make sure I get pictures of a lot more stuff. But if you want to keep updated on what’s going on, I have the official site, davidarchuleta.com, and then I have a MySpace page www.myspace.com/davidarchuleta. I post blogs on my MySpace whenever I have something I want to share, too, so if you want to keep reading my weird blogs, that’s the place to go.

Everyone have a good night, and take care!

New Blog: I’m a concert - goer! + Thank You from David!

David posted a new blog on MySpace today, and he also posted a sweet Thank You note for the fans. :D He’s amazing!

I’m a concert - goer!

Hey guys! The last week has been a pretty crazy one! I did a bunch of appearances on some shows, and I’ll be on the Bonnie Hunt Show Tuesday haha. I hope everyone’s liking the album! And thanks for sending in your opinions on what songs you like the most! I love hearing about what you guys think, and really appreciate the great comments you’ve all been making.
I just wanted to tell you really quick about my weekend. On Friday night I was supposed to go home, but we missed our flight. So instead… we went to the Alanis Morissette concert, which was amazing! I forgot how much I loved Alanis and how big of a fan I am. There was a point in time where I was addicted to quite a few of her songs, and I still love her. She is great live, and she gets into it in a really unique way. If you haven’t heard her before you should listen to Uninvited. It’s one of my favorite songs. Another interesting fact about Uninvited that I learned is that the producer who produced the song, Rob Cavallo, produced David Cook’s album. Cool, huh? Another good song of hers is Thank You.
On Saturday, we were able to go back home for a day. I got to spend time with the family again, and what’s cool is there just so happened to be an awesome concert that I didn’t know about going on that day. It was Lady Gaga, Natasha Bedingfield, and New Kids on the Block. I didn’t get to see a whole lot of Lady Gaga since I thought the concert started at 8, but that’s when Natasha’s set started haha. But I finally got to see Natasha perform live!! Of course I was loving it lol. She did amazing, and I was really happy that I got to see her in concert in Utah. I never thought I’d get the chance to, especially at the beginning when she wasn’t really known in the US yet. I really admire the way she’s gone with her music and career, and how sweet of a person she is! She is just down to earth and stays true to herself — whether it’s in person, in her music, or on stage. New Kids on the Block were also amazing too! I couldn’t believe how great of a concert they could still put on, and for a comeback tour. It was full of energy the whole way through! My family went too, so it was great to be able to all spend time together at a concert. A couple of my friends were also able to go, and they said it was the best concert they’ve been to. I can’t believe how many concerts I’ve been able to go to lately! I seriously have gone to more in the last little while than in my life. You learn so much by watching the way people put on a show, and how they perform live. I’ve been having such a great time. I was never really into concerts before, but I guess now that I’m older I appreciate it a lot more. Just being able to watch experienced people live is one of the greatest things ever. Especially seeing artists who have inspired me so much. Jason Mraz, Alanis Morissette, and Natasha Bedingfield have all been major influences for me, and being able to see all of them in concert is just incredible. So I’m definitely a concert-goer now haha. Seriously everyone, if you haven’t been to a concert yet you should! Especially if you’re a singer, you learn A TON from watching the way someone performs. And everyone does it their own way too. Ah, I just love it! But I’ve rambled a lot more than I wanted to haha. I should probably get going. We’re back in LA, and I got to see Brooke and Ramiele! It’s always good to spend time with those guys. Well I’m gonna run, but before I go I just want to remind everyone that Cook’s album is coming out tomorrow! So don’t forget to show your support, and be prepared to listen to some awesome stuff! haha. Ciao.

Song for the day: Put Your Arms Around Me - Natasha Bedingfield

Thank You

I just want you all to know how much I appreciate your unselfish, usually anonymous time and dedication to show your support for me and just want to say, Thank you sooo much. It means a lot to me, I feel like I can’t thank you enough for it.

Shoutout from David in NY + New Alloy Blog: Fun at the Pier

Fun at the Pier

Recently, I got to go to the Jason Mraz concert at the Greek Theater! I had tickets for the concert he had in Utah, but I ended up not being able to go because I had more promotion things to do. I’m glad I was eventually able to go, though. It was my first time ever seeing him perform live, and he was amazing! He interacts with the crowd really well, and I like how he involves them. He’s always experimenting doing different things with his songs and is just amazing at improv. On some of the songs, he had some gospel singers come and perform with him, and I loooved it. I really liked when he performed “A Beautiful Mess” too, which is an awesome ballad. Jason Castro came along to watch the concert too, and that was fun. He seemed like he had a good time, haha.

Something else I did was I went to the Santa Monica Pier, and that was cold, but fun. I went on the Ferris wheel, and the lady before me in line paid for my ticket, haha. I thought that was really cool of her to do. So the Ferris wheel was nice. I also went to the little aquarium place they have there, and they have a few small tanks and a touch tank. Sea cucumbers feel a little weird, haha. But anyway, that’s all I’ll say for today.

TTYL,
David
